Inspiring the Next Generation of Leaders

Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas is the premier leadership organization for girls in seventy-nine counties. The Diamonds Council provides the leadership training for every county in Arkansas with the exception of Crittenden; Adair, LeFlore and Sequoyah counties in Oklahoma; and Cass and Bowie counties in Texas.

For 101 years, Girl Scouts has believed in leadership for every girl! Away from the social pressures of school, girls can try on a variety of leadership roles. Girl Scouts - Diamonds provides programs at every grade level, K-12, that help girls develop the skills they need to lead: team-building, decision-making, communication, and the confidence that comes from putting their new skills to work.

We know how girls learn to lead. Girl Scouts pioneered the first national system of outcomes measurement for girls' leadership development. Since 1912, Girl Scouts has been providing non-traditional programs for girls - starting with aviation and circuitry in 1913. Today, over 90 different programs inspire girls in every zip code to discover the challenges and fun of science, technology, engineering and math.

The Girl Scout Leadership Experience does not simply teach girls about leadership, it engages them in the process of leadership.
